Learning the Arabic past tense verb conjugations with free printable game
Make learning the Arabic past tense verb conjugation more fun with this free printable!

Match the basketballs with their hoops to help memorise this system insha'Allah. You can play by yourself, or with others. Set the timer to beat the clock or turn the cards upside down to play memory snap.

The game uses the word  فَعَلَ to conjugate. A few years ago I was instructed by an Arabic teacher to memorise the conjugation pattern so that the list simply rolls off your tongue. I certainly found that this helped for me Alhamdulillah.
It does help to encourage the kids to memorise the list in systematic order, and then use the game to help recognise and understand each conjugation by sight inshaAllah.

Again I apologise for my poor camera quality, but a couple of short videos below demonstrating different games you can play.

It comes with printable instructions and a past tense conjugations cheat-sheet poster.
